Figueira da Foz palco da fase final do Campeonato da Europa de Futebol de Praia
O protocolo para a realização da fase final do Campeonato da Europa de Futebol de Praia 2019 e 2020- Euro Beach Soccer League- foi assinado no final da manhã de hoje, dia 11 de abril, envolvendo o Município da Figueira da Foz, a Pro Beach Soccer S. L e a Cofina S. A.
O evento irá realizar-se sempre na primeira semana de setembro, trazendo à cidade da Figueira da Foz e à sua icónica praia oito seleções nacionais masculinas da divisão A Europeia e oito da divisão B, numa competição de elevadíssima competitividade e profissionalismo.
A assinatura deste protocolo assegura o regresso há muito esperado de uma competição que consagra o desporto, na modalidade de Futebol de Praia, que tem vindo a ganhar consecutivamente um crescente de praticantes e adeptos.
Madjer Cup : Hello Fahad! It is a great pleasure for Madjer Cup organization to have the first African Team attending the event. Can you let us know a bit more about DLa Vista Beach Soccer Club?
Fahad : It is great pleasure to have our beach soccer team participating in this meaningful tournament, La Vista Beach Soccer Club founded in 2013 by Fahd Khamis Said and Ashrak Mussa Machano; in that year our team had chance to participate in Zanzibar Beach Soccer Bonanza organized and sponsored by Zanzibar Football Association (ZFA).
In 2014 our team participated in MAPINDUZI BEACH SOCCER CUP where ten teams participated in that competition, our team won the competition. La Vista Club also got the opportunity to have their 10 out of 14 players part of Zanzibar Sand Heroes where they participated in the first East Africa friend Match held in Zanzibar 2014.
In 2015 our team participated in the first Zanzibar Beach Soccer League organized and sponsored by ZFA, 12 teams participated where La Vista Club finished the season in second place. In 2016, La Vista Club participated in the same competition for the second time in 2015 and achieved the same result.
In 2017 our team started focusing on young players under 18 so as to build a strong team in Zanzibar that led Zanzibar Sand Heroes to get the chance to play friend match with South Africa Beach Soccer national team in Zanzibar. After that match our team leaders had chance to have free training for beach soccer with South Africa National Beach Soccer coach Mr NTOKOZO MBHEGU.
2. What meaning has the participation in the Madjer Cup to your players?
Fahad : A great opportunity for our young players coming in the Madjer Cup competition in Portugal to show their talent and compete with experienced international teams.
3. What is the current scenario for Beach Soccer in Zanzibar?
Fahad : After Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) withdraw our Zanzibar National team last year; nothing happened in the beach soccer so far, and the ZFA beach soccer league stopped, the morale of teams decreased, La Vista Club have a great opportunity to have the young players show up again and rise up the morale of beach soccer in Zanzibar.
4. We imagine that to bring a team to Portugal to attend the event involves the support and commitment from various entities. Which partners you would like to highlight, for making this participation a reality?
Fahad : Zanzibar Beach Soccer Association who are helping us to make everything possible for our team to have successful journey in Madjer Cup 2019.
5. What your expectations about the Madjer Cup?
Fahad : Our Expectation is to participate in the Madjer Cup and compete with International teams around the world, we are also hoping to be a winner this year and make history.
The Indian Club Dias United Club will be the first representant of the Asian Continent in the Madjer Beach Soccer Youth Cup. When we got the first contact from Nikita Sundaram, the Club Manager and also Team Manager of the team travelling to Portugal, we realized that history was being made, and we will have the opportunity to witness a great moment for Madjer Cup history! To something so big like this to happen, there must be someone working hard to make it happen and that person is Nikita Sundaram! We spoke with her wanting to know more about the Dias United Club, the Indian Beach Soccer reality and much much more!
FBSC:Hello Nikita! It is a great pleasure for Madjer Cup organization to have the first Indian Team attending the event. Can you let us know a bit more about Dias United Club?
R:DIAS UNITED SPORTS CLUB is a Registered Organization which hosted the official F5WC World Finals Qualifiers Tournament in Western Region of India. It’s an Amateur World Cup of 5-A-Side. The club was an official kit Sponsor for Under-19 Indian Football Team which participated in Asian School Games at South Korea 2015-2016. Also Two players were a part of Rio Olympic Movement and World Tournaments. Now in to the Beach Soccer Dias United is Trying to put a youth academy system and have the young Athletes to get to know about beach soccer.
FBSC : What meaning has the participation in the Madjer Cup to your players?
R: The participation in the madjer cup will help players build confidence in beach soccer and give then a complete exposure at a International level. The begining opportunity is very much essential as we will have lot more to learn especially from Madjer the FIFA Beach Soccer Legend. This will generate more players to play beach soccer and development of beach soccer in India for the Youth.
FBSC : What is the current scenario for Beach Soccer in India?
R: The current scenario for beach soccer in India as INDIA is a developing Nation it is new to this format of football and will increase more development after the support given by Madjer and BSWW.
FBSC : We imagine that to bring a team to Portugal to attend the event involves the support and commitment from various entities. Which partners you would like to highlight, for making this participation a reality?
R: Spoedia Sporting Private Limited is a sports company that will support in collaboration of many organization under its roof. The company deals with Media, Entertainment, Sports, Events and tech based projects. The company is looking forward to develop sports to a wider audience aspects. We understand that all Associates of Spoedia will come together and support the club to represent as a nation.
FBSC : There are any governmental organizations helping you on this project?
R: Expectations of madjer cup is that help Nikita build relation with Beach Soccer World Wide in regards to various Beach soccer development projects like Players, coach, Referee & Club. Also we will need all the technical support from madjer cup organizers to build the beautiful sport of beach soccer in india.
FBSC : What your expectations about the Madjer Cup?
R: The Dias United Sports Club would like to announce that we welcome all players on board for selection as its the Nation participating through the Club. We would like all the clubs and affiliates to Shout out Loud and make India feel Proud.
1. Madjer, depois da 1ª edição da Madjer Cup quais as expetativas para a 2ª edição?
M: Tendo em conta o enorme sucesso da primeira edição e o feedback de todos os envolvidos, colocamos a fasquia mais alta e espero que esta segunda edição seja ainda de maior envergadura, com mais equipas e com mais exposição mediática!
2. Em 2018 devido a alterações do calendário competitivo internacional, não pudeste estar presente fisicamente no evento, mesmo assim com que ideia ficaste da 1ª edição da Madjer Cup?
M: Fiquei com a ideia de que foi, devido à entrega e ajuda de todos (CMF; FBS e equipas e Staff) que para além de termos conseguido atingir os nossos objetivos que era principalmente criar uma competição onde existe uma lacuna a nível mundial (formação), conseguimos dinamizar e promover a modalidade, o desporto, mas acima de tudo o FairPlay entre equipas de todo o mundo!
3. Que visão tens sobre o desenvolvimento do futebol de praia juvenil a nível mundial?
M: tal como referi anteriormente, existe uma lacuna muito grande a nível da formação, contudo grato por poder ajudar a tapar essa mesma lacuna!
4. Qual acreditas ser o papel da Madjer Cup no futuro do Futebol de Praia Juvenil ?
M: Não tenho qualquer dúvida que seremos o torneio de excelência do futebol de praia juvenil e que acima de tudo criaremos bases para o desenvolvimento de atletas e Staff.
5. Que mensagens gostarias de enviar a todos os jovens que sonham vir a ser o próximo Madjer?
M: Que tal como eu um dia sonhei ser jogador de futebol… nunca desistam dos vossos sonhos sejam eles quais forem! E na Madjer Youth Cup queremos dar oportunidade de um dia realizares o teu sonho no futebol de praia!
